Industrial cooling and ventilation in Cairo
Greater Cairo carries the largest industrial base in Egypt, and nearly all new capacity has moved out to the satellite cities — 10th of Ramadan on the Ismailia road, 6th of October and Abu Rawash to the west, and Obour and Badr to the north east. Summers are long, very hot and dry, which is the best possible case for evaporative cooling: a ducted unit can hold a large shed roughly 8 to 12 degrees below outside air using nothing more than water and a fan motor of 1.5 to 3 kW.

- Egyptian mains are 380 V three phase at 50 Hz, so motors are wound and tested for that voltage and frequency before dispatch.
- Water in the satellite cities is hard, so pads last much longer with a bleed off timer and a descaling routine, both set up at commissioning.
- Importers must be registered with GOEIC and the supplying factory listed on the general organisation register, so first time buyers should open that file while the order is still in production.

Yes. Egypt runs 380 V three phase at 50 Hz and motors are wound and factory tested for that before dispatch, with CE, IEC, LVD and EMC documentation included. If a plant in 10th of Ramadan or 6th of October uses a different control voltage, the starter is configured to match it.
