Inland UAE — Al Ain, Dubai Industrial City, Abu Dhabi ICAD — has exactly the dry-heat profile evaporative cooling was built for. Coastal Dubai and Sharjah are more humid in August and September, where HVLS air movement carries more of the load.

Riyadh, Qassim and the central plateau are among the best evaporative cooling conditions on earth. At 48 °C and 12% RH the wet-bulb depression is very large, so evaporative cooling performs better here than almost anywhere else we supply.

Qatar is coastal and humid through peak summer, so HVLS air movement usually carries more of the comfort load than evaporative cooling. Evaporative units perform strongly for the eight cooler, drier months and as fresh-air ventilation year-round.

40–48 °C interior summer highs, dry inland, humid on the Batinah coast

Oman’s interior — Nizwa, Ibri, Buraimi and the Duqm corridor — is dry enough for full evaporative performance. The Batinah coastal strip is more humid and suits a layered HVLS-plus-cooling approach.

Kenya’s ventilation need is driven less by extreme heat and more by solar gain in polyhouses, ammonia and moisture in poultry housing, and stagnant air in warehousing. Exhaust ventilation is the primary requirement, with evaporative cooling valuable in the drier Rift Valley and northern regions.

Inland Egypt — Cairo, Upper Egypt, the New Valley and the desert industrial cities — has low summer humidity and excellent evaporative potential. Alexandria and the Delta are more humid.

The Gauteng Highveld and Northern Cape are dry and suit evaporative cooling well. Durban and the KZN coast are humid, where HVLS air movement is the more reliable answer.

Indonesia is humid year-round, so evaporative cooling delivers only a small temperature drop. We recommend HVLS fans and high-volume exhaust ventilation instead — both work independently of humidity.

Inland and southern Australia have low summer humidity and a long-established evaporative cooling culture. Northern tropical Queensland and the Top End are humid, where HVLS fans are the better fit.
