Strong fitIndustrial cooling & ventilation for Italy
Italian manufacturing concentrates in exactly the places that suffer most in August — the ceramic district around Sassuolo, the foundries of Brescia, the glassworks and food plants strung along the Po. Ayzair supplies air movement for those halls, and is straightforward about which technology suits the north and which suits the Mezzogiorno.
Climate suitability — the honest version
Muggy 35–38 °C Po Valley summers at high humidity, hot and dry in the south
The Po Valley is the awkward case: Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna combine 35–38 °C with the stagnant, muggy humidity the basin is notorious for, which leaves little wet-bulb depression for an evaporative cooler to exploit. HVLS fans and extract ventilation carry the north. Puglia, Basilicata and Sicily are dry enough that ductable coolers make sense.

- CE marking under the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC Directives governs the sale; the declaration of conformity, technical file and IP55 motor test reports ship with every consignment.
- 400 V three-phase at 50 Hz matches Italian supply with no adaptation needed.
- Trieste suits Veneto and Friuli sites better than Genoa on inland haulage, and Gioia Tauro is the sensible discharge port for Calabrian and Sicilian deliveries.

Supplying Italy — common questions

Ask on WhatsAppWill an evaporative cooler help in a Milan or Bologna plant?
Not much, and we say so before quoting. Po Valley summer air is heavy with moisture, so the wet-bulb depression is small and you would gain perhaps 3–5 °C while adding humidity to a building that already feels clammy. HVLS fans plus high-capacity extract are the correct specification for the northern districts.
What works in a foundry or ceramic kiln hall?
Radiant process heat needs removing at source, so we pair large-diameter Hammer exhaust fans at high level with HVLS fans providing floor-level airspeed for the operators. The exhaust bank carries away the hot plume from the kiln or melt line, while the HVLS fans keep working air moving without disturbing the process.
Do southern Italian sites get a different specification?
Yes. Puglia, Basilicata and inland Sicily see dry afternoons in the mid-30s at 25–35% relative humidity, which is workable for ductable evaporative cooling and gives an 8–12 °C drop on supply air. We specify coolers there and HVLS fans in the north, so two plants in the same group can legitimately receive different equipment.
