Excellent fitIndustrial cooling & ventilation for Spain
Spanish logistics has pushed inland to exactly the hottest, driest ground in the country — PLAZA at Zaragoza, the Corredor del Henares east of Madrid, the Seville and Córdoba corridors — where a metal-roofed nave industrial becomes unworkable by mid-afternoon in July. Evaporative cooling is the natural answer at those humidity levels, and Ayzair supplies it alongside HVLS fans for the coastal sites.
Climate suitability — the honest version
38–44 °C inland summer highs at only 20–30% relative humidity
Inland Spain is the best evaporative cooling territory in Western Europe. Madrid, Zaragoza, Seville and Córdoba routinely pass 40 °C with humidity down at 20–30%, which is a Gulf-like wet-bulb depression and yields drops of 10–14 °C on supply air for about a tenth of the running cost of refrigeration. The Mediterranean strip is more humid, where HVLS fans take more of the load.

- CE marking under the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC Directives applies; the declaration of conformity, technical file and test reports accompany each shipment, and Spanish-language installation notices can be prepared.
- 400 V three-phase at 50 Hz is the standard Spanish industrial supply and matches our motors directly.
- Every cooler needs a water feed and a drain at the unit — worth designing into the roof or wall penetration before the container lands, since retrofitting the plumbing is usually the slow part of a Spanish installation.

Ask on WhatsAppHow well does evaporative cooling perform in Madrid?
Very well. A typical July afternoon in Madrid sits near 38–40 °C at 20–25% relative humidity, which gives a wet-bulb depression comparable to parts of the Gulf. A ductable unit delivers roughly 10–14 °C off the incoming air at around 2 kW, against 15–20 kW for refrigeration serving the same warehouse volume.
Is the coast different from inland Spain?
Noticeably. Valencia, Barcelona and the Costa del Sol carry Mediterranean humidity that can reach 65–75% in August, which cuts evaporative performance to a few degrees. For coastal plants we lead with HVLS fans and extract ventilation, and use evaporative units only where the building draws air from a drier inland side.
What water quality do the coolers need?
Ordinary mains water is fine. Spanish inland supply is often hard, so we recommend a simple bleed-off and periodic pad rinse to stop scale building on the cellulose media. Where water is very hard or the site runs on borehole supply, an inline softener extends pad life considerably and is a small part of the installed cost.
