Strong fit

Industrial cooling & ventilation for Turkey

Few countries pack as much heavy manufacturing into organised industrial zones as Turkey does: the Organize Sanayi Bölgesi estates around Bursa, Kocaeli, Gaziantep and Manisa run textile mills, automotive lines and white-goods plants under steel roofs that bake from June to September. Ayzair supplies HVLS fans, evaporative coolers and exhaust banks into those halls, matched to whether the site is coastal or inland.

Climate suitability — the honest version

35–42 °C dry inland summers, humid 30–35 °C on the Marmara and Aegean coasts

Turkey splits cleanly in two for our purposes. Inland Anatolia — Konya, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Kayseri — is hot and genuinely dry, so ductable evaporative coolers deliver their full temperature drop there. Istanbul, Kocaeli and Izmir sit in coastal humidity where HVLS fans and exhaust ventilation do the real work.

  • Turkey is inside the EU Customs Union for industrial goods, so CE marking and the EU Machinery and Low Voltage Directives apply exactly as they do in Germany or Italy — our CE, IEC, LVD and EMC file covers it.
  • 380 V three-phase at 50 Hz matches Turkish mains, so no transformer or rewind is needed on arrival.
  • Most of our Turkish deliveries go to an OSB address rather than a standalone plot, which usually means gate formalities and an appointed unloading window — tell us the zone and we will size the consignment to one delivery slot.

Ask on WhatsApp
Does evaporative cooling work in Turkish factories?

It depends entirely on where the plant is. In Konya, Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa summer humidity falls low enough for a ductable cooler to drop supply air by 10–14 °C. On the Marmara and Aegean coasts the air is far wetter and the drop shrinks sharply, so for Istanbul, Kocaeli and Izmir we specify HVLS fans instead and say so upfront.

Do I need separate certification to import into Turkey?

Normally no extra scheme beyond CE. Industrial machinery moves under the EU Customs Union, so the CE mark, declaration of conformity and technical file we supply are the documents your customs broker needs, alongside the certificate of origin and packing list. Turkish market surveillance inspects against the same harmonised standards.

How many HVLS fans cover a textile weaving hall?

As a working rule, one 20 ft fan covers roughly 1,000–1,400 square metres of open floor at 8–10 m height, with spacing tightened where looms and mezzanines break up the airflow. Send us a dimensioned floor plan with machine layout and roof height and we will return a fan schedule and a coverage drawing.
