Strong fit

Industrial cooling & ventilation for France

French industry learned the hard way that a temperate average hides a brutal peak — a workshop in the Rhône valley that sits at 22 °C in May can pass 40 °C during a canicule, and employers are legally on the hook for what that does to their staff. Ayzair equips plants from Lille to Fos-sur-Mer with HVLS fans, ductable coolers and extract fans sized for those weeks.

Climate suitability — the honest version

Temperate, with canicule heatwaves pushing 38–42 °C in the south and the Rhône corridor

The buying trigger in France is regulatory as much as thermal: the Labour Code obliges employers to protect workers from heat, and the 2003, 2019 and 2022 canicules turned that into a live inspection topic. HVLS fans suit every region; in Provence and Occitanie the summer air is dry enough that ductable evaporative coolers add real cooling on top.

  • CE marking under the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC Directives is the governing regime; we supply the declaration of conformity, technical file and test reports, with French-language safety and installation notices available on request.
  • 400 V three-phase at 50 Hz matches French mains supply directly.
  • Buyers routinely ask for the heat-exposure argument in writing for their CSE and occupational-health file — we can provide airspeed and perceived-temperature figures for the specified layout.

Supplying France — common questions

Cannot find what you need? Call +91 80871 10156 or WhatsApp us — an engineer, not a call centre, picks up.

Ask on WhatsApp
Does French law require us to cool the workshop?

The Labour Code does not name a maximum temperature, but it does require employers to assess and control risks to workers, and heat is explicitly one of them. During a canicule alert that duty becomes concrete. Increasing airspeed over the workstation is among the most defensible and least costly measures available, which is why HVLS fans sell well here.

Where in France does evaporative cooling actually work?

Inland Provence, Occitanie and the middle Rhône valley get hot afternoons at 25–35% relative humidity, and a ductable cooler drops supply air by 8–12 °C there. Brittany, Normandy and the Atlantic coast are too damp for meaningful evaporative gain, so for those regions we quote HVLS fans and extract ventilation only.

Can you deliver to an inland site rather than the port?

Yes. We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and CFR as standard and can arrange DDP to a named French address on request, with the container routed from Fos-sur-Mer for southern sites or Le Havre for the north. Tell us the postcode and access constraints and we will price the inland leg with the equipment.
