Industrial cooling & ventilation for Poland

The distribution corridors around Łódź, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice and the Tricity have filled with 12 m clear-height halls heated by gas radiant tubes, and in those buildings most of the heat ends up stratified under the roof deck where nobody works. Ayzair supplies HVLS fans that push it back down, plus exhaust and inline duct fans for the ventilation side.

Climate suitability — the honest version

Cold winters well below 0 °C, short summers now reaching 35 °C

Poland is not a cooling market and we will not pretend otherwise — evaporative coolers have no place in a country that spends five months heating its buildings. The case here is winter destratification with HVLS fans, which typically recovers 20–30% of the gas burned heating a 12 m logistics hall, with summer air movement as a useful second benefit.

Ask on WhatsApp
Why buy fans for a Polish warehouse at all?

For heating, not cooling. In a 12 m hall with gas radiant heaters, roof-level air commonly sits 10–14 °C warmer than floor level, so a large share of the fuel warms an empty roof void. Running HVLS fans slowly all winter mixes that column and typically cuts heating consumption by 20–30% while removing cold spots at the picking faces.

Should we consider evaporative coolers for the summer peak?

No, and we would rather lose the order than mis-specify. Poland runs perhaps six to eight genuinely hot weeks a year, and adding moisture to a building that spends the rest of the year fighting condensation is poor practice. HVLS fans handle those weeks, and exhaust fans deal with process heat where a specific machine is the problem.

How quickly does a Polish site get its delivery?

Sea freight to Gdańsk or Gdynia runs 25–32 days from Nhava Sheva, plus 10–20 days manufacturing, so plan roughly two months door to door. For smaller consignments we also ship to Hamburg or Rotterdam and move the container inland by rail, which sometimes lands a week earlier depending on sailing schedules.
