Hammer Exhaust Fans
The Ayzair Hammer Exhaust Fan delivers rapid air exchange where effective circulation is critical to productivity, comfort and animal welfare. Fifteen model variants span 200 mm to 1750 mm, so the fan can be matched precisely to your building volume and duty cycle — from a 30 m² workshop to a 5,000 m² poultry shed.
Construction is heavy-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel, riveted at every load-bearing joint, with a five-blade precision-balanced stainless steel impeller that delivers high static pressure with minimal turbulence. An industrial V-belt drive isolates the motor from the impeller — quieter, longer-lasting and easy to tension.
The self-actuating drop-hammer shutter is the signature of the design: aluminium louvres open under airflow and close tight under gravity. No motor, no actuator, no failure points — and a positive seal against reverse airflow, dust ingress, rain and pest entry when the fan is off.

Calculate room volume (L × W × H in m³) and multiply by the required air changes per hour for your application — poultry sheds typically need 60+ ACH, warehouses 6–15 ACH. That gives the m³/h rating required, then pick the model or number of fans that meets it. Send us your dimensions and we will size it for you.
What is a drop-hammer shutter?
It is a gravity-operated louvre system. Airflow from the running fan pushes the aluminium louvres open; when the fan stops, gravity drops them shut. Because there is no motor or actuator involved, there is nothing to burn out — and the closed louvres block reverse airflow, dust, rain and pests.
Are these fans suitable for poultry farms?
Yes — poultry ventilation is the primary application. The galvanized and stainless construction with anti-corrosion coating withstands ammonia-laden air, and the high airflow removes heat, moisture, ammonia and CO₂ to control heat stress and improve bird welfare and yield.
Single-phase or three-phase?
Models from 400 mm upward run on 380 V three-phase. The 200 mm and 300 mm models run on 220 V single-phase.
How is the fan installed?
Four steps: site survey to size the fan, frame the wall cut-out to model dimensions with reinforcement for fan weight, bolt to frame and weather-seal the perimeter ensuring the shutter clears, then wire to a rated supply via a local isolator and test airflow direction.
