Russian logistics sheds, fabrication halls and agricultural buildings are tall, and the heat they pay for collects at the roof. Climate suitability — the honest version
Long cold winters across most of the country, 38–40 °C dry summer peaks in the south
Russia is a destratification market before it is a cooling market. Warehouses and machine shops with 10–14 m roofs burn most of their heating budget warming air nobody stands in, and HVLS fans pay back on the gas bill rather than on comfort. Only the south — Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Astrakhan — is dry and hot enough in July and August for evaporative coolers to earn their place.

CE marking is not accepted in its place, so we supply the full technical file, test reports and drawings your appointed EAC certification body needs.

In the south, yes. Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd and Astrakhan reach 38–40 °C at low July humidity, which is a genuine evaporative climate for a few months. North of that line the answer is no, and we say so: in Moscow oblast or Yekaterinburg the money belongs in HVLS fans and extraction, not in coolers you would run six weeks a year.
How much heating energy does destratification actually recover?
In a heated building of 10–14 m, roof-level air commonly sits 8–12 °C above floor level. Running HVLS fans slowly downward through the winter collapses that gradient and typically recovers 20–30% of heating energy. Send us the building height, floor area and heated volume and we will size the fan count and estimate the saving for your site.
What certification do we need to clear the goods?
EAC, not CE. Equipment entering the Eurasian Customs Union is certified against TR CU 004/2011 and TR CU 020/2011, and the mark is issued by an accredited body in the union on the basis of the manufacturer’s file. We provide that file — schematics, test reports, IP and motor efficiency data and declarations — for your certifier to work from.
