Industrial cooling and ventilation in Marrakech
Marrakech is the strongest evaporative case on the continent outside Egypt, and it is not a close contest. Marrakech climate — the honest version
Marrakech bakes at 40–44 °C through July and August on the plain below the Atlas with relative humidity commonly between 15 and 25 percent, which is the widest wet bulb depression anywhere in Africa outside Upper Egypt and lets an evaporative cooler deliver its full rated temperature drop.
Cargo lands at Casablanca in 18 to 24 days from Nhava Sheva or Mundra and travels roughly 240 km down the motorway to Marrakech, normally a single day once clearance is complete.

At 42 °C with humidity near twenty percent, a ducted evaporative cooler supplies air roughly ten to fourteen degrees below outside temperature, which is about as good as the technology gets anywhere. A single 30,000 CMH unit on a 3 kW motor covers a large workshop bay for a small fraction of what refrigeration would cost to run.
What suits a small workshop in Sidi Ghanem?
Many units there occupy one or two bays on single phase power, so the portable evaporative cooler at 16,000 CMH and 500 W is the usual starting point, wheeled to wherever the crew is working that day.
