Electronics gave this city its nickname, and the contract manufacturing plants strung along the El Salto and Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos corridor still employ tens of thousands of people building servers, medical electronics and consumer hardware. Around them sits a much older economy: tequila and agave processing on the plain toward Amatitán, footwear and leather in Tlaquepaque, food manufacture and a growing pharmaceutical presence, and the distribution buildings filling Zapopan and Tlajomulco. The climate here is gentler than Monterrey, so the pitch is different. Buildings are rarely unbearable, but they are stuffy, and stratified heat from SMT lines, ovens and stills makes a long shift harder than it needs to be. Large diameter fans handle that across the whole calendar, evaporative cooling adds a real drop through the pre monsoon months, and extraction deals with cooking, solvent and still house heat.
Guadalajara climate — the honest version
Guadalajara holds a mild plateau climate at 1,560 m, with 30–33 °C days from April to June at 25 to 40 percent humidity, before the summer rains raise moisture sharply from late June into September, so evaporative cooling suits the hot dry half of the year and air movement has to carry the rest.
Manzanillo is close by Mexican standards, 32 to 40 days from Nhava Sheva and then 300 km of road into Guadalajara, four to five hours and usually same day delivery after clearance · rail to the Guadalajara terminal is an alternative for multi container projects.

It reduces it considerably. From late June to September humidity in Guadalajara often sits above 65 percent, which cuts the achievable drop to a few degrees. The compensation is that the rains also cut ambient temperature, so buildings are less punishing. We size the coolers for April and May conditions and expect them to work mainly as ventilation during the wet months.
Are these fans suitable above an electronics assembly line?
Over general assembly and warehousing, yes. Where ESD control, cleanroom classification or precise airflow matters, fans go over circulation space and adjacent areas instead, since any moving air path has to be agreed with your process engineers. Many Guadalajara plants use them over goods in, kitting and dispatch, which is where heat and crowding usually cause the most complaints.
What can be done about heat in a tequila still house?
Extraction first. Still houses generate steady convective heat and vapour that must leave the building, so large diameter wall or roof exhaust fans sized on volume and air changes do the primary work. Ceiling fans then prevent the stratified layer from forming over the working floor. Evaporative cooling is of limited value in an already humid space and we would not lead with it there.
