Industrial cooling and ventilation in Klang Valley
The Klang Valley is the densest manufacturing and logistics belt in Malaysia. Shah Alam holds the automotive assembly and component plants along with a long list of FMCG and pharmaceutical factories, Port Klang Free Zone and Bukit Raja carry enormous modern distribution sheds of 12 to 15 metre clear height, Subang and Glenmarie run lighter assembly, printing and electronics, and Rawang to the north takes the heavier trades including rubber glove lines that never stop. Buildings here are new, tall, well built and completely unconditioned on the floor, because air conditioning a 20,000 square metre warehouse in this climate is financially absurd. What people actually want is to stop the air standing still. Large diameter fans moving the whole volume, and wall or roof extraction pulling accumulated heat out of the ridge, are what make these buildings workable through a Malaysian afternoon.
Klang Valley climate — the honest version
The Klang Valley holds 31–34 °C with relative humidity around 80 to 90 percent every month of the year and no dry season worth planning around, which leaves almost no wet bulb depression to work with and makes air movement and extraction the only honest answer to heat here.
Containers discharge at Port Klang, Northport or Westport, about 9 to 13 days sailing from Nhava Sheva or Chennai · road delivery to Shah Alam, Bukit Raja or Rawang the same or next day · 20 ft and 40 ft high cube loads both work, with HVLS fans packing far denser than coolers.

Worth knowing locally
- Supply is 240 V single phase and 415 V three phase at 50 Hz, so Ayzair motors run as built with no frequency or voltage change needed.
- Electrical equipment sold in Malaysia falls under SIRIM QAS certification and Energy Commission approval, with a certificate of approval required before goods are offered for sale. Ayzair supplies the CE declaration, IEC 60335 and EMC test reports and the factory test certificate that the SIRIM submission is assembled from.
- Evaporative coolers are deliberately not recommended for the Klang Valley. In 85 percent humidity a pad cooler would give roughly one to two degrees of drop while adding moisture to a building that already has too much.

Cannot find what you need? Call +91 80871 10156 or WhatsApp us — an engineer, not a call centre, picks up.
Ask on WhatsAppWhy will you not sell us evaporative coolers for a Shah Alam factory?
Because they will not perform. An evaporative cooler works by evaporating water into dry air, and Klang Valley air is already near saturation. At 33 °C and 85 percent humidity the theoretical drop is under two degrees, and the added moisture makes conditions feel worse rather than better. Selling one here would produce a complaint, so fans and extraction are quoted instead.
How many HVLS fans does a Port Klang distribution shed need?
Roughly one 24 ft fan per 1,200 square metres, or one 16 ft fan per 600, adjusted for racking layout because tall racks break up the airflow pattern. A 10,000 square metre cross dock typically takes eight to ten 24 ft units. Each draws about 1.5 kW, so the whole installation runs on less power than a single small chiller.
Do the fans need SIRIM approval before they can be installed?
Electrical equipment placed on the Malaysian market falls under the Energy Commission regime administered through SIRIM QAS, and your importer normally holds the certificate of approval. Ayzair ships the full technical file, CE declaration and IEC test reports so the application is straightforward. Plan the certification in parallel with manufacture rather than after the container has landed.
