Industrial cooling and ventilation in Astana
The capital has been a construction site for twenty five years and its industry grew out of that. Astana Industrial Park and the two municipal industrial zones beside the ring road hold precast concrete, window and facade systems, structural steel, cable and pipe works feeding the building programme, alongside bakeries, dairy lines and meat plants supplying the city itself. The Tulpar-Talgo works assembles and maintains passenger rolling stock on the northern side, and the logistics estates near the airport and the dry port handle traffic on the China to Europe rail corridor, which has pushed several new 12 metre high bay warehouses up in the last few years. Those tall buildings are the reason Astana is an exceptional destratification market. A shed heated to 18 °C at floor level is commonly carrying 34 °C under its roof in February, and every degree of that stratification is gas already bought and wasted.
Astana climate — the honest version
Astana is among the coldest capitals on earth, sitting at −25 to −30 °C for weeks in January while July still climbs to 30–33 °C on dry steppe air, so the building problem reverses twice a year: trapped roof heat and wasted gas in winter, unvented solar gain and dust in summer.
Astana lies deep inland. Cargo sails Nhava Sheva to Bandar Abbas, then runs by rail through Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and on north across the steppe · 28 to 40 days door to door · the inland leg is charged per wagon or per truck rather than per container, so mixed consolidated loads are the economical way to buy.

Who buys here
Industries in Astana.
- Construction products and precast concrete
- Rail rolling stock and engineering
- Structural steel and metal fabrication
- Food processing and bakeries
- Logistics on the China to Europe corridor
- Cable, pipe and building systems
Worth knowing locally
- Industrial supply is 380 V three phase 50 Hz nationwide, identical to the Indian standard Ayzair builds for, so the motors connect straight into the existing distribution board.
- Goods enter under Eurasian Economic Union rules and need an EAC declaration referencing TR CU 004/2011 and TR CU 020/2011. Ayzair provides the CE declaration of conformity and IEC test reports that the declaration is drawn up from.
- Winter installation is awkward and often impossible at height, so most Astana buyers take delivery between May and September and commission the fans before the heating season starts in October.

Ask on WhatsAppWhat does destratification actually save in an Astana warehouse?
In a 12 metre shed heated through a long Kazakh winter, roof level air commonly sits 12 to 16 °C above floor level. Large diameter fans turning slowly return that air to the working zone, so the thermostat is satisfied sooner and the burners cycle less. Measured savings on heating fuel usually land between 20 and 30 percent, which pays back the fans inside two to three winters.
Do you sell evaporative coolers for Astana at all, or only fans?
Coolers are worth having, but they are a summer only item here. July on the steppe is dry enough for a ducted cooler to give a useful 10 to 12 °C drop in a packing hall or workshop. The honest order of purchase is HVLS fans first because they work in both seasons, extraction second, and evaporative cooling last where a specific hot process needs it.
Can the same fan run for winter destratification and summer cooling?
Yes, and that is the normal way they are used. At full speed in summer the fan produces a floor level breeze worth three to four degrees of perceived cooling. Dropped to 15 or 20 percent speed in winter it moves the same air volume gently enough that nobody feels a draught, while still mixing the hot roof layer down. One 1.5 kW unit covers both duties.
